Class A CDL Truck Driver- Car Hauler

As a class A CDL driver, you will be expected to regularly work within the Hours of Service set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Our regional trucks operate within an area that allows that truck to return home several nights each week. Regional company drivers are expected to be available to work all manner of hours as needed to meet the demands of our customers. The company operates 7 days a week; there may be times when customer demands dictate the need for weekend work. You must possess a good working knowledge and operating ability of a tractor/trailer combination unit; the knowledge and ability to load/unload vehicles from the trailer and head rack in a safer and efficient manner; the knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs on the road; and the knowledge and ability to maintain equipment in a good condition consistent with company policy and local, state, and federal laws.

Driver Eligibility Criteria

These are minimum requirements for all drivers employed, contracted or hired by our company.
1. Age: Minimum 24 years to maximum 65 years of age per insurance guidelines.
2. Two years verifiable experience as a driver of Class A commercial motor vehicles, pulling full trailers.
3. Possession of a valid CDL Class A driver’s license issued by the resident state of the driver.
4. Experience loading/unloading car hauler.
